The watch band is a decent replacement for the stock band, feels nicer with cloth vs. the basic hard plastic. The stretchy feel does take a little getting used to.
Couple of real problems.
1- Not a standard watch band attachment. And with the parts involved clear instruction for the change would be nice.
2- The loops for the attachemnt points are not the same (or any type of) stretch material. The watch tore through them after less than a month.

I have had computer-related shoulder and wrist pain for a long time. The doctor said if I could relax for a few weeks and the sypmtom could subside. I'm a computer professional so relaxation for that long is out of the question. A month ago, I got this pad. Wow, what a difference it makes. I bought Suunto Vector after reading the raving reviews but the face was not impressive, also it got scratched in the 1st day of regular use :(. Luckily I could return it back.
I exchanged Vector for Altimax and so far it is completely awesome. Here are my thoughts after wearing it for a few months:
+ve:
- great style, the yellowish orange/amber dial looks great
- lot in a watch ... barometer, altimeter, dual time, alarm, etc
- changing the battery will be a breeze (havent changed it yet)
- the manual is very extensive and it needs to be
- the 4 buttons have a lot of controls, which is easy to use once you get used to it
-ve:
- a bit big (but I still looks nice and rugged)
- the night light is very dim (can hardly see till I strain my eyes)
- the temp is not even close (it is probably my body temp as the sensor is below .... it should've been above)
- alarm is weak (can hear it fine in vacuum, but that is not real life)

So when the time came to buy a new one, I made sure I get another one just like the old one. But after using the new one for 4 months I have to say that I am disappointed. Actually, I bought two. The first one was blue. The color is not practical and it soon started to look dirty. So I bought a black one. But after a short while the gel started to have dents and therefore stopped being comfortable. On top of it, the cover material started to get separated from the base.

I bought fellowes gel because it had a comparatively larger area and a large gel pad and a more affordable price. My optical mouse runs pretty smoothly on this pad, although it feels kinds rough at first. However, the gel pad is not soft enough, and your wrist will probably be "uncomfortable" even after using the pad. I would not recommend this pad for hardcore gaming because of its limited surface area, but the gel pad is an added bonus (eventhough it gets scratched easily). Another complaint would be that the gel pad is not uniform. So, the area where the wrist wrests actually feels harder than the adjoining "cliffs." Nonetheless, something is better than nothing!

I recently replaced all of my mousepads. I got one of these in black, as a replacement for the previous model 3M Precise Mousing Surface with 3M Gel Wrist Rest Blue Water Design 8.71 in x 9.21 in. This one is a little more professional looking, but the biggest difference is the wrist-rest portion is VERY firm with minimal give. Based on other reviews, I think many people would find it uncomfortable, though I find it acceptable.

The mousing area is the same size as before, with a good control surface and no notable friction or noise.

I also got a couple of these Belkins: Belkin F8E262-BLK WaveRest Gel Mouse Pad (Black) They are a similar idea to this 3M, but less cost and with a more contoured and slightly softer wrist-rest. The 3M has a larger mousing area than the Belkin, but if that's not a priority, most users may be just as happy with the cheaper mousepad.

Other than the relatively high price and the firm wrist-rest, this is a great mousepad.

Comfort wise, GREAT! Space wise, awful! This is good for a bigger desk workspace, but I have a small slide out shelf and the platform from front to back is bigger than the shelf. I have to pull the shelf out as far as it'll go to have room to work the mouse. It leaves a very small space for the mouse itself, which means the wrist pillow I bought for the mouse won't fit anywhere on side of it at all. The maker should have added another 3inches and the mouse could have fit on it too. What makes it bad is that, this is not the one I ordered, actually Amazon sent me the wrong one. I ordered a smaller one along with a wrist pillow for my mouse since I have carpal tunnel. I don't feel like dealing with my not so good running vehicle and the heat trying to go through all the hassel of returning it and going without the wrist support any longer. Bottom line, if you're working with a smaller workspace this is not a good pick.

I have had this watch for over 3 years and the only problem I have found is the compass has to be frequently recalibrated. I have had issues with some batteries messing the calibration up. When I try to use the compass while walking in a circle it reads from 95 degrees to 243 then jumps back to 95 degrees.
I have owned numerous watches over the years but this is by far my most favorite, regardless of the compass issue.
The only thing I would change is you can only monitor the barometric pressure or the altitude. It would be nice to monitor both, though not sure if this is feasible due to the watch using pressure to monitor both. This was difficult to keep up with while over seas (the resources to obtain the barometric pressure aren't as readily available as they are here).

Don't bother with these. The foam is very firm... much less comfortable than the gel style of wrist rests. Also, the foam outgasses terribly... there's a strong rubber tire smell from 5-6 feet away. As you sit and use this wrist rest, it's strong enough to actually make your eyes water. I'm not usually sensitive to stuff like this, but these are just too unpleasant. You get what you pay for.... What's really sad is that I ordered three of them and each was shipped from a different fulfillment site, each in its own gigantic box... what a waste!

I purchased this product at the same time that I purchased a device that detects a static charge. If I shuffle my feet on the carpet while wearing my slippers, the device shows I am building up a charge. Normally that charge would remain until I touch something and discharge instantly. Garmin Forerunner 201 Wrist-Mounted GPS Fitness Computer

The 205 is $30 more than the 201, but is ten times the watch. If you can afford to the extra dough, here is why it's worth it.

I bought the 201 when it first came out (~7 years ago) It was head and shoulders above the Timex product with the remote arm pod and I would have rated it 5 stars back then because it was the best of it's kind. I even used it to go geocaching.

The problem is, I have to strongly recommend against anyone buying it today - I was "lucky" to have lost this kayaking a couple of years ago at which point I upgraded to the 305. It is SOOOOO much better that I have to now rate the 201 as one star in comparison. The 205 is the same but without heart rate.

First, the 101/201 have a very unusual shape. The 205/305 is a bulky watch but the looong 201 prevented you from wearing gloves - a real problem when skiing, cycling, etc.

Second - and more importantly, the 205/305 have the SIRF Star III Chipset which means it can lock on and hold the lock better.

Imagine if you will - you're all ready to run and pumped up - whoops, you now have to wait an extra few minutes to lock your position, otherwise it cannot tell you your speed, location, etc.

My old 201 locked on far faster than my running partner's Timex (He had to hang it on a tree while he was getting ready since it often took 5 minutes or more to lock.) the 305 can lock in 5-10 seconds most days while the 201 would lock in ~2 minutes *most* of the time but occasionally would take up to 5 minutes. If you were ~100 miles away from your prior location, the 201 would take up to 10 minutes to get a new lock. ARRRGGGGHH.

Also the 201 would lose lock all the time when running in even moderate tree cover or heavy clouds. With the 305 I can even get a lock in my house most of the time.

Finally, the 101/201 cannot lock IF YOU ARE MOVING! The 305 can lock even if you're riding a bicycle. I think I've even gotten a lock while driving.

Yes the 205 and 305 cost more but with the huge difference in functionality I find it astonishing that Garmin would continue to sell the 201 given how much better the 205 and 305 are.

p.s. Don't bother with the 405. Interesting concept but not practical. Read the reviews.

I use mine for cycling and running, the direct link to see your workouts mapped on GOOGLE EARTH is FANTASTIC!!!! (the included software is far more stable than the junk Polar included with their HRM's.

Heart rate strap with replaceable battery is coded and comfortable. It's better in my opinion than the Polar products (of which I've owned three)

I'd avoid the 405 unless you really want to use this watch as a normal day to day wristwatch (check out the 405 reviews)

My only complaint is that it's easy to leave it on and run the battery down - which is a bummer if you're just about to work out. I wish there was an "auto off" feature which would shut it down if it detects no movement or heart rate within an hour or so. Fortunately, with Li-Ion batteries, as little as a 10 minute charge gives you enough juice for a 90 minute run.

I'm currently using the wrist rest to write this review, and it's providing decent support at my desk. If you are looking for a cushy rest that your wrists will sink in to, avoid this rest as the gel inside is firm and does not budge much with use. The rest slides around a bit over the course of a long day, but actually stays put better (due to its heftier weight) than some other wrist rests I've used.

As wrist support is extremely important for someone using a computer for long periods every day, I'm pleased with the purchase as it's keeping my hands off the desk. It's also flat on one side (so it can be snuggled against the keyboard), but unfortunately the size of my hands forces the rest has to be pushed back a distance.

Overall, select a rest based on how much 'give' you'd like. If firm is your style, buy this one. Otherwise, look at some of the other offerings on the site.

The part that attaches to the camera is particularly thin, so I'm still nervous about dropping my camera even when using it. And I'm not a fan of the metal piece in the middle. The jell pad feels great but it is of no use because my mouse pointer is unstable.

I can't get the mouse pointer to stay still or to move in a straight line. I checked the cord, I restarted the computer, I checked the mouse for driver updates, I checked START, PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS, SYSTEM INFORMATION, Problem devices and found no issues. I also ran MS Diagnostics. Nothing bad found.

I removed the mouse pad just so I could write this review. What good is this pad if it caused my pointer to go wild? Not happy.

I bought a couple of these because they were the simplest, most neutral design, and because they seemed comfortable ( (I use two, side by side, to create one long wrist rest). They seemed well made, so I thought when the first two fell apart in a couple weeks and started spewing silicon glunk all over the place that it must a fluke. So I got two more. Again, silicon glunk EVERYWHERE. Disgusting, disappointing, infuriating.

This mouse pad is an excellent investment for anyone who uses a mouse for any decent length of time.
1) The size is more than adequate for me, I am able to go across a 22" monitor in one motion (although this will depend mostly on your mouse sensitivity).
2) The material on the top is soft and feels like a foam neoprene laptop case. Some people have complained about the friction and noise of sliding the mouse: there is SOME noise, but not more than any other mouse pad. The friction of the neoprene is higher than a desk or a hard plastic mouse pad, but I personally think it gives me more control of my mouse. Not an issue at all in my opinion, the difference is noticeable at best.
3) I haven't owned this for long, but I could foresee something scratching it (like a watch or a pen) and making the threads come up. Also, the whole thing is flexible and foam, so you don't risk cracking any plastic components if you shove it into a laptop bag. The foam bottom keeps it from sliding quite well, although I don't think that would be an issue for any wrist pad. It may pick up a little dust, but any gripping surface will do that.
4) The design is what sets this mouse pad apart. The sort of trapezoidal shape of the top part allows you to have a greater range of motion, especially compared to a round mouse pad like the Fellowes Gel Mousepad. The actual wrist support is excellent as well. Belkin, either by luck or a stroke of brilliance, designed the wrist support to have an indent in the middle. The reason this is significant is because it now creates two support points for your wrist. This is superior again, to the Fellowes Gel pad (not bashing it or anything, it is just the best comparison I can give) because the gel pad is just a giant bubble, creating one pressure point on your wrist that can reduce circulation and comfort. The slight indent allows the pressure to be distributed to the bottom of your palm and an inch or two above the wrist, rather than right on the joint of your hand and arm. This may seem trivial, but if you have ever had issues with circulation while using wrist/mouse pads like I have, this one does the trick because it allows better circulation.
5) On an even more obscure note, since this mouse pad is neoprene and not smooth plastic like the Fellowes, it breathes better and therefore reduces sweating. Hopefully this point helps someone with sweaty palms or works in a warm environment :D

Overall this is the best mouse pad I could have chosen. Do keep in mind that if you use an optical mouse (if your mouse emits a red light at the bottom), there could be tracking issues and your cursor may jump around because this mouse pad is black and absorbs light differently than a wooden desk would. However, this largely depends on the quality and age of your mouse. My laser mouse has had no issues at all.

I have a similar bead rest that is much bigger than this. I love the comfort of the bead rest but the old one was too big for my desk. This is a compact size that just as comfortable. Much better than the gel filled rests--I've had those before too. Buy it, you'll be very happy!

I've had one for a few years now and I wouldn't trade it for any other. It's actually long enough to span the length of my dell keyboard, plus hang over enough to use with the mouse as well. I need to get another for the office because after just a couple hours I can feel my wrists start to hurt from resting on the hard desk. But I often sit for 10 or more hours straight working at home, and never feel discomfort with the gel rest. It's also really easy to clean unlike the ones that have fabric on them, and that's important to me with two young kids and a husband that use it too. I also find the fabric ones starts to irritate my skin from the constant friction against the rough fabric, and that's completely eliminated with this one.

Belkin F8E244-BLK WaveRest Gel Wrist Pad

Does exactly what I wanted, but product's construction is not up to the level required to survive an elbow's weight (as I use it). Maybe it would last longer if you keep your weight off if it and just have a light wrist resting on it (careful to not lean with weight on it). I tried re-gluing with various good flexible glues but the rubber base (similar to wet-suit rubber) seems hard to match with a good adhesive - I suspect this is the problem with the original seal as well. I had the same problem with an second-hand keyboard wrist rest of the same design (assume it was Belkin as well). Now I am going to try one of the "solid clear" designs to see how they stand up (non Belkin).

I was very disappointed to learn that this product came from another company with another return policy. Not only was the shipping almost 100% cost of the item but then it came damaged and I now have to spend money to return it! I was on the phone with customer service and they would not credit without the damaged item nor offer shipping. I found Computer Brain to be inflexible with this situation and Amazon is completely out of the loop and no help.

I recently purchased a couple of these for a friend and me. He thinks it works great. I think it has some warmth issues when prolonged use and a little bit hard when you start using it, still it's a pretty good wrist rest. I'd recommend it.
